BBQ’s don’t have to be a meat feast, there are a world of other foods out there, from corn on the cob to vegetable skewers, tofu and Quorn to grilled halloumi and more! When vegetables like peppers, aubergines, and courgettes are grilled, they become soft and char beautifully which renders them a smoky flavour. These recipes work at any time of the year and are great ones to have in the folder.

Why not slice the courgette into ribbons and pop them on the grill, a few minutes each side. Then roll them up with a sun dried tomato and your favourite soft cheese.
Corn on the Cob
You can’t beat a buttery corn on the cob hot off the grill. This recipe from Delicious Magazine is easy and delicious.
A stalwart in fridges these days and perfect for mixing things up on the Grill and if you like a bit of heat and zing then this recipe from Waitrose is one for you: Piri Piri Halloumi Skewers.
Becoming more and more popular, this is for those who’ve had enough of halloumi. A real herby rub makes this dish incredibly tasty. Recipe from BBC Good Food.
Similar to the courgette, one to slice in ribbons and let the grill do the hard work. Adds a lovely smoky depth to the veg. Another good one from BBC Good Food.
Another popular veg and this recipe makes a great main course.
This is another veg that is rising in the popularity charts, there is so much you can do with this humble veg and we love this recipe from Gimmie Delicious and a real twist on the classic chicken wing.
Hopefully that gives you a nice mix of new recipes to try and not just for summer.
