When first thinking of BBQ’s the traditional charcoal is probably what comes to mind. Charcoal BBQs will either use lumpwood or briquettes to help generate and even temperature for cooking meats. Charcoal does give you that real, grilled taste that you expect. Many charcoal BBQ’s are generally cheaper than gas, and many can be folded down to make them portable so you can take it anywhere with you.
Gas BBQ’s are generally more expensive than your usual charcoal BBQ, however they make up for in by only taking minutes to heat up. They can also come with other features such as side burners, griddles, and warming racks.
